Less Than a Week Left - The Giveback

Learn about Part B Giveback plans, a type of Medicare Advantage plan that offers a monthly reduction on your Medicare Part B premium.

Today’s Medicare highlight - Part B Giveback Plans

With less that a week left in the Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) which ends December 7th for plans effective in 2026, I wanted to share a quick update about a type of Medicare Advantage plan you may be hearing more about — Part B Giveback plans.

A giveback plan is a Medicare Advantage plan (MAPD) that offers a monthly reduction on your Medicare Part B premium. In simple terms, the plan “gives back” a portion of your Part B cost, which means more money stays in your Social Security check each month. Depending on the plan and your area, this giveback can be modest or quite substantial.

It’s important to know that giveback plans usually focus their value on the Part B reduction. Because of this, they may offer fewer extra benefits (such as dental, vision, hearing, or over-the-counter allowances) compared to other types of MAPD plans. However, for many people, the cash savings each month make these plans worth considering.

If you’d like to see whether a giveback plan is available in your area—or want help comparing your current benefits to other options—I’m happy to go over everything with you.

I'm here to help you navigate your options and find the right plan for your needs. Call me at 440-622-2112 today for a free consultation.
